Mark Weiler has recurred on several television series, including NBC’s “The Event,” as Secret Service Agent Josh Miller. The much-hyped launch featured Weiler rescuing President Martinez (Blair Underwood), and premiered to 11million viewers in the Fall of 2010. Previously, Weiler also recurred on ABC’s “The Forgotten,” as Detective Jim Keller, Christian Slater’s nemesis, and on the CW’s “What I Like About You,” as Marcus. “WILAY” was Weiler’s break into network television, initially as Vic’s (Dan Cortese) best friend and fireman pal. Later evolving into the boyfriend of Val’s (Jennie Garth) best friend, Lauren (Leslie Grossman). Mark Weiler also has appeared in a very memorable role on CBS’s “The Mentalist” as the mass-murdering gangster, George, opposite Simon Baker, on CBS’s “Cold Case,” opposite Kathryn Morris, on CBS’s “CSI Miami,” alongside Drea DeMatteo and Aldis Hodge, NBC’s “Life,”opposite Adam Arkin, and CBS’s “Young and the Restless.” Weiler also co-star in the Lifetime movie, “Locked Away,” opposite Jean Louisa Kelly. Mark has two feature films in post production, including the Chilean film, “La Vina,” along with Mexican stars, José María de Tavira and Aislinn Derbez. And “Benjamin Troubles,” starring Manu Intiraymi (One Tree Hill, Star Trek Voyager, etc). Having spent his life from an early age, creating plays he produced in the family barn in northern Wisconsin, to the stage in high school, to the cut-throat streets of Hollywood, Mark has proven his dedication to the craft. He has sacrificed financial gain to participate in numerous awardwinning short films including those featured at the AFI, Mill Valley, Santa Barbara, Seattle, New Orleans, New York Comedy, California Independent Film Festivals, Sacramento Festival of Cinema, Newport Beach Film Festival, Festival of Festivals in Palm Springs, Sidewalk Moving Picture Film Festival, Sedona International Film Festival, Johnstown Film Festival and Long Island Film Expo and the prestigious Lee Strasberg Film Program. Mark can also be recognized as the long-time voice of Suzuki automotive.

In his spare time, Weiler reads numerous scripts and books, works out daily including a healthy regiment of yoga, boxing, basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, traveling, enjoying beverages with friends, and watching sports and movies. Mark also volunteers for a mentor program in Los Angeles that includes feeding 3,000 vets each year.
