INTERVIEW!
OBZ: Do you write your own songs?
HARMONY: Yes

OBZ: What does your songs evolve from?
HARMONY: Sometimes my songs are loosely based off of life experiences of mine or those around me. Sometimes they are a direct reflection.

OBZ: You also write for other artists. Is the collaboration important to you?
HARMONY: I enjoy collaborating with other artists, because it gives me a chance to mix it up and keep my style fresh and interesting.

OBZ: Is music for you a feeling of life? Do you think music should play an important role in people’s life?
HARMONY: It's not my place to say what role music "should" play, but I do think that it can be healing and enlightening. Often throughout history, you can hear a culture's music and have an understanding of what is going on emotionally and politically within that group.

OBZ: Do you always play your music live? Is that important to you?
HARMONY: No, i do not have a back-up live band at this time. So when I do live performances, typically my music is given to the DJ to play over a PA system. I don't lip sync though, the music is live, there just isn't a band.

OBZ: With whom would you like to work together?
HARMONY: Smokey Robinson or Missy Elliot.

OBZ: Do you have a dream project?
HARMONY: I would love to do an overseas tour for the armed forces. I am a prior United States Marine, so I have a lot of love and respect for the military.

OBZ: What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you? Was it on a concert? Or was it on another event?
HARMONY: There have been a few times where the music started and I forgot the words from being nervous.

OBZ: People can buy your music here in the shops. Where else could people get your music from?
HARMONY: With my next album, my fans will be able to download my music through Itunes. They can always of course access my music during live shows.

OBZ: Tell me about the greatest experience you had with your fans.
HARMONY: In general, whenever I see people at an event who come up to me and say they remember a prior performance, that always make my day. It lets me know that I am giving a memorable show to people.

OBZ: Is it important to you to keep in contact with your fans?
HARMONY: Yes, very much. I will usually respond to comments or messages very quickly. Even when people just ask "whats up", ill write them back and say, "not much, how are you?". I like to keep a very informal, friendly connections.

OBZ: What is the most important thing in your life?
HARMONY: My children and my husband. No question about that...they always come first.

OBZ: Imagine you had one free wish. What would you wish for?
HARMONY: I would wish that my children will have the luxury or learning from my mistakes without having to make them on their own.

OBZ: Have you ever been to Germany before?
HARMONY: Nein. But my husband is German, so we plan to visit there next year.

OBZ: Imagine now you have the opportunity to thank all your friends and family. What would you say to them?
HARMONY: Thank you for always supporting my dreams, and for never letting me give up.

OBZ: What can we expect of you in the future?
HARMONY: I just launched my website www.HarmonyMuzik.com which I will have lots of fun and interesting things to look at and talk about. I am also dropping my album this Fall (Sept). Also, I will hopefully be touring around Europe next year to promote my music and widen my fanbase.
